I thought it might be neat to put together a calendar for .83, has anyone ever done this before??!!1
Seriously, you've got 4 months this time, should be good. Warm up those cameras and those sexy biker bodies.
Submissions to calendar@milescrawford.com
Submission guidelines:
Must include a bike.
Must include a male and/or female person who has ridden with .83.
Exposed genitalia will be appreciated (maybe) but not printed.
There's no preorder page yet Laura. Be patient.

define "member." wait... no thanks. define "member of .83"
I haven't been on enough rides to consider myself a member. but I DO have access to an actual, live, fuzzy, BUNNY that could be an adorable addition to the photo of whoever claims april/march/whenever easter is.

Hi so i gave you several months warning and I have not received one entry.
This must mean that no one wants a calendar this year right?
The deadline for submissions is December 1st.
Can someone volunteer to host a photo-shoot?
Can willing photographers post some available times so models can hook up with them?
Come on folks! |

I think you will be selling plenty of those on Thursday.
In related news, I was actually thinking to myself earlier yesterday, "Justin, you should come up with an idea for the calendar."
In response I thought, "Yes, you should. How about a BOB picture? Me, Deven, Joby, with our RB-1's?"
How do Deven and Joby feel about that? |

I think so too, but I was mostly poking at the fact that the elves are ahead of the game on this one :P
I have an RB-1 too! She's purdy. |

Would an XO-1 be permitted? I could also wear my matching Bridgestone Castelli jersey. |

Saturday works well for me, I'm out of town Sunday through the following Friday, the following weekend (the 13th/14th) is open.
If people interested in being a part of a BOB shoot want to PM/email me their
1) Availability
2) Location/stylistic preferences (indoors vs. outdoors, etc)
then I am willing to coordinate this. |

I'm in, but we're going to need a bit more of a theme I think.

Go retro-grouchy? Do they make wool sweaters with reflective striping? |

Ditto!
Though, if I do contribute, can we improve the print quality/layout of the Calendar this year? I really wasn't impressed on how my photos turned out last year (langston's photo looked great on the computer but was very dark in the calendar, blank pages in the end where we could have had extra photos that didn't make it to a particular month, etc). |

Sorry, did the best I could on a short timeline.
This year I will definitely use the extra pages, and use last year's calendar as a guide for doing better color levels. Everything came out a bit darker than on my computer, and I can adjust for that.
This calendar is the sum of my print experience, so if someone with more does wants to do a better job, volunteer. You'd have to do it in December with a deadline near the middle of the month. |

I agree. I never got those photos from Henry. The conversation:
Miles' Gmail Archive wrote:

outside sets of langston, justin, me, the beard, and kevin.
They were in the 83cal folder on your mini when I left. Think I can
get ahold of those too?

Miles wrote: Also, I think either there was a mistake, or you cut way too many on
the first pass. I remember particular shots at least of myself that I
thought were good that aren't here. Plus, none of the bar photos with
btm and chase are here.
Let me know whats up,

Also, you took the ones of btm and chase behind the bar :)

Henry wrote: Yeah that seems wrong. I can't put anymore time into this project atm, but I'll take a look when I have some time.
And that's the last I heard.
Soooo, sean and I organized an emergency usb drive handoff at the honeyhole. If henry has some time now, maybe he can send me the btm/chase set? :) |
