ive been chatting this around to different people the last week or so, and people seem into it. how does a NO REASON COSTUME RIDE sound for this coming thursday?

ronald mcdonald wants to come out and play.

weather looks like it's supposed to be in the 80's later in the week. should be great for being jackasses in costumes.

My bike will be in pieces inside a box for RAGBRAI during this ride, or else I would 100% be down for this.

Why don't we make it drag?
Or is it more .83 to wear furry suits in the hot summer and skirts in the winter?

Does anyone have some blackwatch plaid fleece shorts I can borrow to go with my Hawaiian shirt?

I'm up for a zanny Thursday mission/activity but I must say additional clothing sounds hot in a sweaty way.

Slutty costumes are always encouraged! I just need to find Ben's b-day manties...

I have a zombie prom queen costume that hasn't been out for a while. Crazy Cat Lady would be too hot for the summer.

I don't know if we have ever done a group costume. What if we all dressed up like the revelers in Festival of San Fermin (running of the bulls, etc)? White Tops and Bottoms with a red scarf, should be easy enough for everyone to come up with on short notice. Add a few "bulls" for good measure to chase the group. I know there is at least one pair of bull horns in point83. Rogelio is kind of fancy, he may even have a bull fighter costume at home he could wear. Should be good for a big racus group, we could drink lots of wine and maybe ride the bull at cow girls after parading through the streets. No non-human animals will be harmed in the point83 version though.

We can look like this at the end of the night no problem.

Um, those horns have been hidden and out of Derrick's possession for some time.

Paging Mr. Rose, come in.

EDIT: Per Andre's instructions: HELL YEAH. I am in.

since ef jefe is gonna be out of town I guess it's safe for me to come out for a ride.

on another note does anybody have an HD projector they would be willing to bring on a ride sometime? i have an idea, yes it involves video games.

Also important to note is that the Corrida begins and ends with pyrotechnics. Just sayin'.

Anyone got a good lead on cheap white pants?

I'm also doing RAGBRAI, yet somehow I'll be able to make this ride. Spare bike, anyone? Surely someone can loan this man a bicycle. He can even ride it back to your place the same night thanks to the magic of WifeTaxi!

I'm headed to goodwill tonight to look for white pants, they usually are not more than $5.99. T-shirts are usually $0.99, I'm getting a red one to turn into a sash.

Pete will be representing a horse costume modified to be a bull. I'll keep my eyes open at GW for anything that could help as an additional bull.

I already have white pants/white shirt combo as well as certain red "sash" so I'm covered on that. Still, I can't resist the temptation to hit Goodwill and try to make a matador costume with what I can find.

Tonight: I Goodwill.

Which one you going to go to? I was also planning to hit one up, either the massive one in the ID or Ballard. .83 field trip!

I was thinking I'd grab extra pairs of strange white pants and toss 'em out to any stragglers thursday, so long as somebody can grab extra bottles of port & madeira and toss 'em out to me.

You can ride my Pacer. Or the LeMond. Or the Karate Monkey. You've got short legs. It'll work out. Don't pussy out Jeff!
