YES. anyone that wants to drop a bag or gear at the start line, it will be waiting for you at the finish. this includes bread and loved ones that you'd like to leave in .83's hands for a few hours (if they are potty trained) |

| You know what this ride needs is a whiskey station - about 100 meters from the cider stop. |

I have a fifth of woodford reserve whiskey and a fifth of spiced rum that I was going to toss in the prize pool, but I'd be happy to put it toward this use instead. |

I'll be a designated liquor marshal if anyone else want to bring flasks to make sure there are plenty to go around. |

As soon as I finish the race, I'm going to turn right around and go get beer. Last year we were like seagulls at the waterfront Ivar's fighting over french fries.
At least 2 more people should volunteer to bring/get beer to avoid this most heinous situation. |

i can easily make a liquor stop just after the first major highway crossing. mandatory whiskey shots. snyder, if you get me that bottle in the morning, i can use it for that.
as for beer, if all goes well, we should have enough beer procured through a sponsor that we wont have to go get any after the race. will know more on sunday morning |

I like mandatory whiskey stops. Make 'em chug something equally unsettling if they're not drinkers, though. Whole milk?
Since the weather is threatening to turn by Sunday, folks should all consider thermoses of warm drinks for the finish line in their packs. In 07 I was super hypothermic and we all bum-rushed that little coffee stand right by the finish line. I'll have a 320z of coffee that I'll share but that won't go far. |

you know I will. I'll laugh while you walk up the hills, when you're stripping off layers on the side of the road, and when you try to mack on 17yo Cascade girls. |

Derrick, etal
I picked up that hunka junk trailer that Lee wrote about last weekend
I plan to fix it up Sat afternoon, unless some catastrophe strikes.
I also plan to ride to the race, but not in it, as I'm takin 'er easy for a week or two. I currently plan to chill/help/drink at the finish.
Soooo
Could the group benefit from a 2nd trailer? |

Cascade has Ride Refs, would anyone object to having a Pirate Ref?
I was going to pull a stunt and volunteer as a Ride Ref, plus buy a Cascade Bib like I did last year, and buy a pirate bib, but I opened my big mouth and Cascade said no, so for this year either I'm a Ride Ref or I'm a pirate, not both. |

| everyone here is a big boy* and rides their bike on the street every day. I believe that the local law enforcement has the whole ride ref thing down pat, considering the racers who got a talking to for blowing a stop sign last year. |
