I vote for prefunk at jon's mom's house. That's where I'll be, anyway.

nothing against any other prefunk, but i don't want to wait 10 hours for a drink. i'm going to get a long island iced tea at the nitelite to set a nice foundation of liquor for my evening. time waiting (under 1 minute). and they have a patio. it faces nothing pretty.

Hey guy on the fixed gear bike with the sweet pegs, yet no brake; get a new bike. Dismounting beyond the crest of a downhill in the middle of the group because you suddenly realize you're beyond your skill level is a terrible idea.

Again; get a new bike that allows you to coast, with two or more brakes.

Forever yours,
Jerf.

Hey I'm just sayin' - however snarky that was. Suddenly dismounting and straddle-walking your bike just beyond the top of a downhill in the midst of so many riders is how collisions happen.

As always, it was right pleasant to ride with you idiots. And I think I have finally absorbed the lesson that I am the sole person in the entire world who thinks it's amusing when I sing "Stay" by Lisa Loeb.

If anybody lost a cable lock with keyed MasterLock, I have it. I have it specifically because Kalen handed it to me without explanation and then refused to take it back.

I've been on a number of great rides since October, but this is the ride that made me register on the forums.

Hey, Jerf. Skidding and hopping left and right down steep cobblestones in a crowd of bikers with tourists at the bottom seemed like a worse idea than 'dismounting beyond the crest of the hill.' Apologies to anyone who was behind me. I've been building braked and brakeless fixies for 7 years. You couldn't make me go back to a coaster no matter how snarky you get. Thanks for the suggestion though. I'll add it to the million others.

Also, I'm shy but please feel free to talk to me rather than tweet on this forum behind my back. I won't hurt you... unless we're racing.

Unrequitedly yours, Ben.

Ben (Moonlightbike),

First of all welcome to Point83. I see that you have encountered some "Beef". In order to make your future interactions with the group go a bit smoother perhaps you might like to check these out. This is also quite useful when it comes to navigating your social interactions. You may have been able to see these guidelines earlier, if perhaps a certain someone didn't thwart you by trolling. Hopefully we'll see you out again soon and you'll allow this lovely bunch of assholes to endear themselves to you as they have so many luck others.

Cheers,

lm

PS: Thursday was entirely enjoyable. I'm so grateful to have been able to come join in our shenanigans. Thanks for all of those who came out.

PPS: Joe, sorry you're still broken.
