It’s time for the Running of the Bulls 2012! Next week, Thursday July 12th, 2012.
Ol’ mother nature bucked us off last year but we’re back in action this go-round. Those of you who found this little bike club after July 2010 may be asking “What’s Running of the Bulls Joeball?” Well, let me point you to a little run down.
That means it’s time to visit Goodwill for some whites and reds, time to rinse out those bota bags, time to dust off those horns, and most of all, it’s time to bring out that newb-i-est newb who will have a blast may decide to come back again.
We’ll need a few volunteers to be bulls and help chase the crowd. If this is your first Bulls ride don’t bother applying, just get your runner costume in order. If you step up for the extra responsibility as a bull you’ll need to square away your own costume.
If you have any questions just ask.
Consider yourselves notified. |

We need some BULLS folks!
How could I have overlooked the obvious? There is no such thing as a seasoned bull at Running of the Bulls (unless you count the BBQ afterwards). The bulls ARE the new blood, literally. So I’m looking for any dependi-bull volunteers to step up to the task. Black or brown clothing and a pair of horns ziptied to your helmet. Not too hard.

But... where do I get a bota bag? I'm considering just taking a bag out of a franzia box and tying that around my shoulders... |

running of the bulls 2009 was my first ride ever with point83 and to this day remains one of my favorites! 2010 was great too - i think that's the first time i met talia. also, this happened:
