Dear Ben, Imma let you have your birthday, but I'm only in town until Friday.
Thursday is my last chance to ride bikes and drink whiskey before I turn 30 and crotchety-ier. Lets do all of that. |

| Pre-funk suggestion: Venik Lounge. Lisa Marie is working there tonight and promises .83 friends and family discount if we show up before the ride. |

I need to meet up after the ride starts, so please use all existing forms of social media to let me know where you are, updated on a 5-10 minute basis.
I expect twitter, facebook and foursquare updates; google latitude is optional.
If I have to text-message or call someone on the ride, I will have cause for disappointment.
I ride in
Also, for the record, I think you should NOT bring guns on the ride. |

| The Venik Lounge is so close to my house I can't NOT go. I officially validate this pre-funk idea. |

I live in the wilderness now and due to that remoteness I missed the jersey party. I'll probably be wearing gate colors. Act tough accordingly. |

You know, last year I didn't do that. This year, I could be convinced. |

Actually, the rules expressly prohibit that. They say that if you take a detour on the way home -- say, to get groceries -- you don't get to count those extra miles.
But as a person who doesn't really care, I welcome you to make up whatever shit you want. |

A high-tech paramilitary force driving around the desert at night amongst hippies having sex and doing drugs in an effort to look like a sand dune, what could go wrong? |

How many people do you catch trying to parachute in? |

That is inside the fence, not my problem. Ask the BRC Rangers. :)
Really though, none. People that can afford to parachute in can afford to get a ticket. |

I was in fact kidding, but I did intercept you guys up on Pine and rolled down 1st with the gang. After being soaking wet for hours the lure to turn home up Jackson was too strong. Hope you guys are having fun. |

Lee, while you were correct on prediction WHAT would happen, you were just slightly off the mark as to WHEN it would happen.
All in all, I haven't been to lorettas in to long. Good thing we went there, now that I'm warm and dry and can look back upon the memory. |
