| Don't be surprised about the suntour groupo on the bike - Schwinn only sold the 50th anniversary as a frameset - the shop builders would then finish it out with the components they wanted to sell with it.\ |

| Superbe pro is pretty cool stuff IMO. Nothing wrong with high end old school. But 2500 is crazy don't you think? |

| The frameset in mint condition goes for $1200- $2000. The front fork is actually plated in 24K gold, if memory serves correctly. |

Wouldn't you agree though that if you are selling a bike with a 24K gold fork it might behove you to mention this noteworthy spec in a CL advertisement? As if it takes a lifetime to write a half decent ad. |

Only those WORTHY of deserving a Schwinn Paramount frame should purchase that. Because they know. Everyone else just wants something that would make a sweet fixie.

A good condition 1992 Paramount frame, fork and original headset. Seat tube measures 56.5cm center to top and 55cm center to center. Top tube measures 56cm center to center. Paramount Precision Tange Oversized Double Butted Tubing. Original electric blue with red splatter paint is in good condition with only a few minor chips that have been touched up. Good condition throughout, there are not many miles on the classic road frame. English threaded BB, 27.2 seat post, two sets of water bottle mount braze ons and internal rear brake cable routing. | I was planning on replacing it with an rSogn but I recently picked up a Raleigh Portage and thought I'd give it a try first. So far I'm really liking it. |

These are listed in "sporting goods" not bicycles so could be a good deal and little exposure. I'd be all over it but I don't think size large will fit me, and I know the size med. stuff wont' fit me.
$150 for all of it.

I am interested in the undershirts (1 or 2 of them), the jacket OR cycling shell, and a jersey.
Provided you hear back from this guy, and provided you want to sell me that stuff. |

That's only in the original series. Sort of. Security wore red uniforms and died all the time.
In Next Generation (what the jersey is imitating), security started wearing gold uniforms, and continued to die in them. Command personnel start wearing the red uniforms, and are mostly safe, as you can't really kill an officer every episode.
The exception to the rule are pilots, who wear red, and die constantly. Basically, any time someone other than Wesley Crusher is at the conn, they are probably going to die (and sooner, not later).
So, if you're going to buy this jersey, find yourself Lieutenant pips (or better) to go on it, and you should probably be fine. |

You know, the death statistics for TNG are remarkably even across color, unlike TOS.
Off the top of my head, I can think of roughly equal numbers of Gold, Red, and even Blue fatalities - what I will stress, however, is that in TNG there was a strong bias for different color deaths on a per-episode basis. I.e. if a research station was attacked, you can bet your bottom dollar that the walls would flow with blue shirt blood. |

Perfect example. That guy wore red, and survived 7 seasons and 4 movies. |

So this is what's left. This Kucharik brand, not exactly Hub & Bespoke styling.
Tiddlefitz: I'm keeping the only short-sleeve jersey, the rest are long.
Sweeney: I haven't decided if I'm keeping both pairs of knickers. They're the Bicycle Fixation knickers and are pretty sweet--I'll PM you if I decide I don't want both.

Rad, thanks for facilitating this.
I'm in for the two undershirts (the kucharik ones, I guess) and 1 long-slv jersey (black).
I'd like to take a look at the jacket, but I don't promise to buy it. If someone else really wants it, sell it to them. |
