Roger that. Jimmy, I'll put on a corny keg fitting so that we can use one tank for both. Serving pressure will be about 12PSI, just FYI.
Woo hoo! |

I could do it Saturday night at work. I have a 40 quart tilt skillet and tons of buckets I could store it in. |

We ARE going to have about 20 gallons of beer this year. But if we have more beer, I really will not complain.
Weissbier's gonna be tasty. More malty than I had anticipated, but the light hoppy finish really rounds it out and will make a great session beer. It's not heavily alcoholic (only about 3.5 - 4%), so you'll be able to just enjoy having some good tasting beer, and won't have to worry about it sneaking up on ya. |

| LOL. When I read the hydrometer, I thought something similar. Ultimately, I'll need to go back and troubleshoot the process to determine why I didn't get as much sugar out of the steep as we should have - I think that we may have been a bit more boisterous with our sparging than we should have, which leads to channeling and ended up not recovering as much of the fermentables as we could have. But hey, you live and learn. and it gives folks an incentive to drink more, which means I may not have to worry about taking home excess beer - I already have a couple other kegs of homebrew I gotta figure out what to do with. |

Are you new here? There is roughly a 0.00% chance of that happening, independent of the gravity of the beer. |

| with lots of experience (I'm a drunk) I've found lower ABV to be in my greater interest when coupling with longer cycling trips. I need the fluids and salts anyways, with ~4% I can just drink beer all day and not get wasted or out of whack from fluid & mineral loss. |

| What langston says is true. I'm not brewing anymore, but my favorite projects were lower alcohol tasty beers. It's easy to make high gravity monsters, but hard to make a 4% beer that is yummy. |

Look at the forecast now! HA HA!
For real:
"Sunday will be the best opportunity for lowland snow showers [Eric wins!]. There won't be much moisture around [good news!], but the snow level will be low enough for any shower to fall as a snow/rain mix or just snow... Highs will only reach the low 40s [bring warm close for post-race]... Western Washington will stay chilly [hilly] for the final few days of February..." -komo4 |

What forecast are you reading?
NOAA says "A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 43.", and Cliff Mass says "It will get cold over the weekend, but a major lowland snow event does not look likely."
In other news, Cliff Mass's dog is still missing.

| hey Derrick, I don't think I'll be riding because my knees have been sore lately, so tens of miles of hills doesn't sound great. is there anything I can do to help? man a checkpoint? man a safety check point? |

I'm not calling out any names or pointing any fingers, but Jerf and I have enough people for the vodka checkpoint. If we have any more people pussing out on the ride and "volunteering" to work it with us we'll need to bring a fucking tent.
RIDE TEH BIKES. It's a nice ride, it's a good time, you'll meet good people, Jerf and I will be there at the bottom of Baker Hill to give you a boozer boost. Sure you can cheat it the ride but Chase Motherfucking Wreyford and Rob Motherfucking Johnson flew in for this and have claimed they're riding the whole thing, so pony up and ride it with em.
Push yourself a little you fat fucks, get loaded, make a mess and we'll see you at the finish line.
PS No promises but we might have whiskey this year too. |

As evidenced by last year where Remi walked his fixie at the same speed I rode, I will attest that the hill is gnarly, though much easier than the steepest part where everyone cheers for you, and the whole group makes it up that hill.
Also, it's the prettiest part. So do it! |
